I keep getting emails sent and people visiting my old blog still. I’m going back there; it’s everything but dead.

I’ve been working on a new project, and that’s why I haven’t been blogging as much. I built a “wall” system, kind of like the Facebook wall. It will get more complex and have more features and whatnot over time, but right now, the basic framework is laid out.
A “private” alpha (quotes because anyone that has the link can use it, but I will not publicly share the link) is underway. I will not give an exact ETA of when there will be a public beta. I can only say that is a bit ways off from today.
So far, it’s working out really good. Again, like I said, it’s just the basics; no multimedia, no accounts, and there isn’t even a site design yet. It’s just black text on a plain white background.
I’ll be sure to post the link here when there is a public beta. For now, stay tuned.
Hello there, loyal Nerd Adventures blog subscriber. I want to ask you if you have any questions for me. Just comment below with your question, and I’ll stick it in a post.
I, actually, am running low on topics to talk about here, and my life has been ever-so normal lately. You can ask me anything: what I think about movies, books, TV; answers to whatever you’re interested in; etc.
You can also ask me a question I probably can’t answer. You can ask me to guess your age. Stuff like that. Watch me fail.
Anyway, send me a question. Again, simply comment below, and I’ll try to make it into a blog post just for you. Isn’t that amazing? Don’t you feel special?
So send me your questions now!
By the way, if you are not already a subscriber, here are instructions on how to join the club. Over on the right sidebar, there is a thing that says Follow Blog. Just follow the instructions there.
Here’s the story, although you probably don’t care anyway.
I needed the MicroSD card from my phone, because there was a video on it that I needed for my presentation I was doing the next class. Unfortunately, I ran out of time at recess (it needed to grab the file from the cloud), so I just took the card out and threw the phone in my bag.
I had no idea that the silent button on the top of my phone has the inverse option to put the volume high again. Darn it.
A telemarketer called me. I had to give up my phone to the teacher.
And this was all actually my fault; I had forgotten my USB drive at home in the morning, which led to the SD card incident.
The essay draft, anyway.
Today I handed in the essay draft, because the teacher wanted to look over it. We also did some peer editing; I got at least 95% overall marks from my classmates. If my teacher agrees with the high marks my peers credited me with, then I’ll just turn in my draft for the final copy.
I’ll just have to hope that I will have the opportunity to be lazy.
My friends have gone on and on and on about Tumblr. When I talk to them, Tumblr somehow gets into the conversation.
I’m going to pwn the Tumblr world now.
You might not know (you probably don’t know) that I used Tumblr before it got really, really popular. Before I found out about WordPress.com (the blogging platform this site is hosted on), I used Tumblr. After a while, the limited features annoyed me, and I jumped ship over to WordPress.
Now, my friends are telling me about how cool it is, why I should join it, blah, blah, blah. The tumblelogs I’ve visited so far look like pages from the mid 90s, the days of Geocities. It hurts my eyes to see all those flashing, animated GIFs all over the place. At least they don’t have the auto-playing music on there.
I’m going to show all the teenagers on Tumblr how blogging is done. I’m going to show them all that their blogs suck, and that their visitors hate them for blinding them.
Visit my brand new, epic tumblelog at http://reblogthisblog.tumblr.com. If you had taken the time to actually read the URL, you’d know the name of it is Reblog This Blog. There isn’t much content on there yet; I had just taken the time to modify the design, throw on an about me thingy, etc.
Here’s the purpose of the blog, if you can’t infer it from its title:
From reblogthisblog.tumblr.com/about
REBLOG THIS BLOG.
Do as the title says. Reblog everything on this blog. Share it on your own Tumblr. Post it on Facebook. Tweet it. As long as you put a link back to Reblog This Blog, anything is fair game.
But I couldn’t.
Today was one of those days when I have my moments of inspiration. I woke up this morning, and told myself, “I’m gonna do this. I’m gonna finish that stupid essay today.” Then, my mom told me we were going out to eat lunch with my grandmother and two aunts. She also told me we would be back home right after lunch.
Ok, that’s fine with me. I’ll still have time to finish my homework.
We stayed at my grandmother’s apartment after lunch. The adults played mahjong (we’re Chinese
) until 6, then we went back to the same restaurant we ate at for lunch. (The reason for that is because it is walking distance from my grandmother’s apartment building.)
Actually, I’ve got time to spend on that essay right now. Unfortunately, that moment of “I’m gonna conquer this thing!” has passed, and I’m back to procrastinating.
